7-nights Santa Cruz / 2-nights Isabela
This tour visits the best of Santa Cruz Island, and two of Bartolome, South Plaza, and/or North Seymour Islands. It also spends 3 nights in Puerto Villamil, on Isabela Island.
The general itinerary:
Day 1 Transfer from the airport to your accommodation; Tour of the Highlands
Day 2 Free Day
Day 3 Day cruise to either Bartolome Island, South Plaza Island or North Seymour Island
Day 4 Free Day
Day 5 am: tour of the Charles Darwin Research Station; pm: tour of Tortuga Bay
Day 6 Free Day
Day 7 Day cruise to either Bartolome Island, South Plaza Island or North Seymour Island
Day 8 Free time in Puerto Ayora then a 2-2.5hr launch ride* from Puerto Ayora to Puerto Villamil leaving at 2pm. Visit flamingo lagoons.
Day 9 3/4-day visit and hike to, and around Sierra Negra Volcano Hike followed by a swim in Concha de Perla
OR am: tour of the Tintoreras and a snorkel; pm: wetlands visit, wall of tears plus the tortoise-rearing center
Day 10 Launch ride* back to Puerto Ayora then a transfer to Baltra Island for your flight**

* Traveling to Isabela involves a speedboat which can cause sea-sickness. The day cruises travel in a comfortable vessel and a normal pace.
** You must get a flight for after 12:00pm to allow enough time to arrive from Isabela.
